Note: This policy covers cloud-side voice-control integrations only. It does not apply to the Lumina Go mobile remote app (Bluetooth-only), which operates entirely offline — see the mobile app privacy policy for that.
1. What This Service Does
When you link your Lumina Go projector to Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or a supported voice platform, a cloud relay service (hosted on Cloudflare Workers, domains relay.luminago.app and proxy.luminago.app) forwards commands from that platform to your projector over a secure WebSocket.
2. Information We Process
Platform user identifier — an opaque ID issued by Alexa / Google (e.g. amzn1.ask.account.xxxx). We never see your real Amazon or Google account email, name, or password.
Device binding — a mapping between that platform ID and your projector's device ID, created when you complete OAuth account linking.
OAuth tokens — short-lived access tokens and refresh tokens issued by our relay, scoped to the linked device only.
Command payloads (text, in transit) — the text-level directive issued by the voice platform (e.g. TurnOn, SetVolume 40, Play, search query). These are forwarded in real time and not persisted in our database.
Request metadata — for each relay request we log HTTP method, path, origin country and Cloudflare edge region for abuse detection and regional routing. Logs are kept for up to 30 days and do not contain command contents.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
Voice audio recordings
Your real name, email address, or postal address
Amazon / Google / Apple account credentials
Full command history or behavior profiling
Continuous location tracking
Contacts, photos, microphone, or other device sensors
4. How We Use This Information
The data above is used exclusively to:
Authenticate the voice platform request and find the correct projector;
Relay the command to your projector in real time;
Return the projector's state (power, volume, input) back to the voice platform so it can report status to you;
Protect the service from abuse (rate limiting, anomaly detection).
We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or resale.
5. Data Storage & Retention
Device binding & OAuth tokens — stored in Cloudflare Workers KV and Durable Objects, in the region closest to the user. Removed automatically when you unlink the skill, or when a refresh token has not been used for 12 months.
Pairing codes — auto-expire within 24 hours.
Command payloads — processed in-memory only, never written to persistent storage.
Request metadata — rotating logs retained up to 30 days, then auto-deleted.
6. AI-Powered Help (optional)
When you use the in-app "Smart Help" / FAQ chat, your question text is sent to the proxy.luminago.app/api/faq-chat endpoint and processed by Cloudflare Workers AI via Cloudflare AI Gateway. We log only an aggregated count and origin country; the content of your questions and answers is not persisted.
We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to any other third party.
8. Unlinking & Data Deletion
You may unlink Lumina Go from your voice platform at any time:
Alexa: Alexa app → More → Skills & Games → Your Skills → Lumina Go → Disable Skill.
Google Home: Google Home app → Settings → Works with Google → Lumina Go → Unlink.
Unlinking immediately invalidates the OAuth tokens and removes the device binding from our relay. To request manual deletion of any remaining data, email luminago@hotack.cn; we respond within 7 business days.
9. Security
All traffic between the voice platforms, our relay, and your projector uses TLS / WSS (HTTPS). OAuth tokens are randomly generated, scoped per device, and rotated on refresh. We enforce per-request rate limits and reject malformed directives.
10. Children's Privacy
This service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has linked the skill, contact us and we will remove the binding.
11. International Users
Cloudflare processes your requests at the edge nearest to you. For users in mainland China, we will operate a separate deployment under luminago.cn after ICP filing; this policy will be updated accordingly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the skill after such changes constitutes acceptance.
